Student Support
Being pregnant or a parent doesn’t mean you have to put your education on hold.
You have rights through Title IX.
Title IX protects students from discrimination related to:
- Pregnancy, childbirth, miscarriage, or abortion
- Recovery time or related health needs
- Parenting responsibilities
You can’t be excluded from class, denied make-up work, or pushed out because you’re pregnant or parenting.
Depending on the university or college or school you attend, each school has it's own accommodations.
